i was speaking to my bf's friend about memory loss and i was thinking of ordering something for my memory. i am looking up symptoms of Alzheimer's. i am 23 yrs old, is it possible to even experience it at my age? these are the symptoms i feel i do experience:

1. Decreased ability to remember names when introduced to new people.
2. Performance issues in social or work settings noticeable to family, friends or co-workers (noticeable to my bf)

3. Reading a passage and retaining little material (noticeable to my bf)

4. Losing or misplacing a valuable object (noticeable to my bf)

5. Decline in ability to plan or organize (noticeable by myself)
6. Decreased knowledge of recent occasions or current events (noticeable by me and my bf)
7. Impaired ability to perform challenging mental arithmetic-for example, to count backward from 75 by 7s (noticeable by me and bf)

8. Decreased capacity to perform complex tasks, such as planning dinner for guests, paying bills and managing finances (noticeable by me, complex tasks have been very difficult for me)

9. Reduced memory of personal history (noticeable by myself)

10. The affected individual may seem subdued and withdrawn, especially in socially or mentally challenging situations. (noticeable by me and bf)
11. Become confused about where they are or about the date, day of the week or season (noticeable by me)

12. Have trouble with less challenging mental arithmetic; for example, counting backward from 40 by 4s or from 20 by 2s (noticeable by bf and me)

I believe i hit my head on something hard when i was a child, but i seriously can't remember at all. this memory issue has been affecting me as i was getting over the age of 10. this has been bothering my academic studies and my grades have never been so good.

it gets very hard to learn something and nothing doesn't stay in my long term memory (well a few things), but things stay in my short term memory. when it comes to auditory, i'm not really listening to something its like someone says somethin and i cant paraphrase what they asked me. i had to ask the question a few times.

my own teachers hated the fact that they had to repeat the question like 3 times. im tryin to take what my teachers said that they had problems with me up to now. my speaking ability has been...not good. i was told i should of been in speech therapy a long time ago. does anyone have any opinions about this?

nervous system

Hello, I have a rare syndrome called complex regional pain syndrome. I am wondering if any one has any idea as to what I can do for my self to overcome this disfunction. I am currently taking a multi and mag/cal reverse ratio, pantothinic acid and B complex. I have made an herbal mixtute of three parts. 1.Austragulus, valarian, siberian gensing, and licorise. 2.St. johns wart, ginkco. lemon balm, scullcap, chamamile, oat straw. 3.Spiriment, chamimile, and hybiscus. The last set is just to make it taste yummy. I do physical therapy too. It is the nervous system overreacting and affects my circulation. The body does not recieve enough oxygen either. I know it is rare, but if any one has either known someone, or has worked with someone , please let me know what you or they have tried that seemed to work. Thank you and blessing.

I'm new to this tribe. Hence, the introduction.

I was directed to this by a dear friend and wellwisher Mike DeVito. Everything about me can be gathered, both, from my profile, as

well as from my website.

With the humble knowledge that I have in esoteric sciences, my main aim of my visits to US for past few years (on a regular basis)

is to create a 'true awareness' among people about 'what lies ahead' as the FUTURE for my friends/clients...

Yes, after having spent a huge amount on tickets, stay & other expenses, the remuneration also has to be considered.

Unlike other visits, this time I intend to do things on individual basis. Starting with their Vedic Astrological Chart and moving on to

'solving' problems through Mantras, Tantra, Gem Therapy and personal teachings based on ancient Hindu tenets.

I'll be coming to U.S around Feb/March.& having base mainly in L.A.& Colorado .

Going to other places is still tentative....All depends on the 'economic' factors listed above...Pl.do let me know if that is possible

I've got some swollen and aggravated lymph nodes- under my chin- the submental node- and on both sides of my neck below my ears. I've been using a dry skin brush, drinking lots of water, and using a rebounder. Does anyone have any suggestions?

First off the subject title means "thanks" in Ojibwe. I recently joing Tribe and happened accross this site (tribe) and thought it would be an interesting topic to delve into. The easiest way for me to Introduce my self is to cut and paste the intro to my biography, as it explains who i am:

Erik-Rune is an accredited counsellor who has worked for the past 2 decades in various capacities in the helping profession. He has worked extensively with marginalized members of society including First Nations People, Homeless People, and New Comers to Canada, Mental Health System Survivours, the GLBTQ Community, Sex Trade Worker, Chemically Dependant and Street Oriented Individuals. He has extensive experience conducting community needs assessment, social programming development and implementation. He has been an HIV/AIDS educator and advocate, and continues to work on various social justice causes. He works from a client/person centred, Wholistic Community Development, Harm Reduction philosophy. He has a counselling diploma from the Negahneewin College of Indigenous Studies as well as a Bachelours of Arts Degree, and various certificates in a range of traditional and alternative mental health and natural health service modalities.

While living in Northern Ontario, Erik spent much of his time with the Nishnawbe elders. During his formative years, he learned the flora and fauna of Northern Ontario; gaining first hand knowledge of which plants have healing properties as well as which plants were dangerous and learned the ways of Traditional Nishnawbek Medicine. I am a female Reiki and Herbal Massage Practitioner and Lifestyle Consultant.

I am restarting my practice after a few years break. (marriage, travel, study, etc.)

Greetings,

I'm looking to exchange bodywork with another therapist in SF who has at least 5 years of experience, and has skills in shiatsu, Jin Shin point work, intuitive energy work, craniosacral, and has a studio to exchange in. You must either be a straight male, lesbian, or a straight female in a solid relationship. I'm looking after my health, not a hook-up :)

I graduated from the Acupressure Institute in Berkeley with over 1000 hours, and have been practicing for over 11 years (the last 4 in SF).

I work 5 days a week at Kabuki Springs & Spa, and am developing a business in nutritional marketing, to segway towards moving out of the area and developing a private practice that integrates both in the near future -hence why I am not maintaining a studio in SF at this time.

I'm available:

Mon, Thu, Sat, Sun, starting at 10 am, and ending by 3 pm.

I have spent the last 24 years of my life a very sick person. numerous allergies, deficiencies, and other medical problems that no one has been able to treat, just mask it up. I dont want to sound like a sales pitch, but I have found a product that has made my life a whole lot easier. I have not been cured, but instead of treating the symptoms, I can treat the cause of the problems, and get the my symptoms under control and almost non existent. Please check this info out. Appeal - Dream is so close/Need to rent slots at healing center at beach

I have had the holistic health & fitness spa for 15 months, now it is 3 times as big, just expanded last month. Overhead is obviously way higher, I need to fill up my slots in order to truly suceed. I am so close to having a ribbon cutting with the chamber of commerce etc, I appeal to you, I am offering an amazing space as my contributon to the planet and I need you if you are the right person.
There are 2 huge multi use yoga/workshop/spa spaces so it should be real easy to schedule. There is a seperate entrances, steam room, front and back patio (big) wood floors, Washer Dryer, Dishwasher, 2 bathroom/showers/ 2 kitchens, parking, real central location.
Each space rents at $30hr/sometimes $25. 16 hours a week equals $300- a week.
A great neighbourhood ( a 1 bedroom starts at $2500 here), steps from the beach, steps from the restaurants and coffee shops, a great upscale service is being offered here, marketing is already in place.
We have our dreams and I can say if you saw the space for yourself it could definetly initiate your dream too.
